Herber plumbing is an outstanding company. My husband and I had a great experience with them, they were nothing but professionals. They had great communication and customer service throughout our experience. Bob, the owner was a true professional and accommodating to our individual needs in our home.

I’m surprised by any bad reviews. We had a great experience and still continue to call on Herber! We called for an estimate to fix an error of another plumber. Bob came out, super nice. Offered 2 possibilities. Called another time for an “emergency”. Toilet won’t flush and backs up into tub. A gent came out, roto rooted, fixed the problem but also disinfected and cleaned everywhere he went. My dad was really impressed. (Since even the cable guy leaves a trail of trash these days). He also took the time to look into our cess pool and explained a few more things to my dad. We had a great experience. Will update if anything changes but I don’t anticipate that. And customer service has been really nice and helpful. A Pleasant voice on the phone starts the experience off right!

They are honest and good at what they do.

A few days ago I called for a repair. The water was leaking from a frozen ball valve. When I called I as for an estimate over the phone. I wouldn't hold them to it but just to get an idea. They said that they didn't give estimates over the phone. No problem. Here is the funny part, their plumber shows up and has to call the office to get the price before he can give me an estimate. Before he calls I specifically said that i was going to pay in green cash. I also said that I didn't call anyone else. They do have a good reputation. The plumber was nice and clean cut. The problem was tat the ball valve shut off was leaking and the cost was going to be $400 + tax. I realize that a business has costs so not everyone would give a low price. Their price was just plain crazy. The plumber didn't even have the curb key to shut off the water but I had one and it takes only 1 minute to do. Since this was not an emergency situation I called another local plumber who was very well established . I sent him a 2 minute video to show them that it would be easy. I even told him that there was no rush, get your high paying customers first. The next day they came. It took about 30 minutes and they included the part. AND NOW THE PRICE! $175.00. When they got here they did what they had to do. As it turns out they fixed my neighbors leaking faucet for a low price after they got done with me. If the repair was hard or in the crawl space I would understand but everything was easy. Herber does do good work but their price was out of the ballpark. Maybe next time.

Called Herbert plumbing because there was water spraying out of the laundry area. Jeremy tells us that it’s going to be $350 to change the pipes and this should fix the problem. After he is done he said the cesspool May be full but you will have to call another company to empty it out. He leaves and the water is still spraying out of the laundry area. We call the cesspool company and they charge us another $325 and now the problem is fixed. My problem is if he knew that the cesspool was full and that the work he did was not going to work, why do the work. You came in to solve an emergency not to just make a quick buck. You are dealing with hard working families that don’t have money and are afraid to call plumbers and for this reason. They charge you an arm and a leg and don’t actually fix the problem.
