Master Plumbers

They lied to me about being bought out but I knew they had. After 12 years of being a loyal customer, they tried to flim flam me every time they were here. The last straw was when they sent some inexperienced kid who was overwhelmed cleaning a clean out. Somehow he damaged my pipes and another company has worked for months undoing the whole mess. Guess who gets to pay for Master Plumber’s incompetence? I’ll update review with the total cost and some photographs.

I had 2 clogs in both my showers. I called to make an apt and had to wait 2 weeks to be seen. Not only that they dont give you a scheduled time (my plumber came after 530 which I didnt like) so if your home when the plumber finally decides to come than good if not good luck you may not been seen for a few more days. Id like to add the receptionist was very nice though. When my plumber finally came he let me know there were two clogs and he was going to charge me around 250 to fix them. I said no I'd rather have 1 fixed and I'd try to fix the other. He told me he could maybe unclog it if not he would give me more prices to try another way I said ok hoping he'd get it unclogged. Well he couldn't...he said he unclogged it enough to where if I take a shower it'll drain but if the water is running it would drain slow. WHICH WAS BASICALLY WHAT I ALREADY HAD A DRAIN THAT WOULD DRAIN SLOW WITH THE SHOWER BUT WOULD DRAIN EVEN SLOWER WITH THE WATER RUNNING! I paid 134 for him to do absolutely nothing to my drain. He also gave me an estimate for him to get behind my wall remove pipes and break concrete to really get the clog unclogged but it would cost anywhere from $1500 - $2000! I wouldn't dare even accept that knowing he probably wouldnt have unclogged anything and give me another option and pay more than 2,000 no thank you! I was already paying 134 for just running a snake down the drain and it doing nothing. He was very nice so I gave a $10 tip but I was very angry I paid money for something I already did myself! I thought it was a joke but he also asked me before he left if I wanted to be part of their rewards I pay a monthly fee and if I call I would be priority before anyone else and get 10% off my bill? That's probably why I had to wait so long. And they would probably make that 10% back me paying for months not using them that was a joke. Save your money on a small plumber (I used a small plumber in lovington and he charged like 40 to do what master plumbers did I just couldnt find him hes the man that looks like the guys on duck dynasty if anyone knows his # please leave his name and #) or buy a snake and do it yourself. I would never use these pl again. Would see their truck in town alot figured they were good and reliable but they aren't. Thanks for taking my money and not getting anything done. The pics are the mess that gets left behind (I understand my tub being messy but not my toilet the last plumber I used cleaned up after himself) and me using the shower the next day and the clog still there. I wouldnt have mind getting charged for them coming out but why over 100 for nothing being done? I dont know if I'm just being crazy but I expected more.

They did a good job. They were very careful digging in the backyard. They did quality work. My only complaint was that the price was high.

Diego and Luis were the two I had the privilege to work with this week. They installed a tankless hot water heater. They were very professional and explained the install process in detail. Both were extremely helpful and courteous. After installation, Diego explained the operation and maintenance for the unit. I definitely recommend Mater Plumbing and these two individuals for your pluming needs.
