Roto-Rooter

I just want to let customers know that Roto-Rooter charges $84 dollars just to drive out to your house. Others plumbers don't charge as much and actually check your plumbing out. The problem continued and I called them back but they said they don't warrant commute calls in other words I would have to pay another $84 dollars for them to come out again. I don't recommend this plumbing company unless you have money to throw away.

We called them to come by and give us and estimate for a small heater that gave out. The guy they sent was in a bad a just rubbed it off. Don't matter to me if your in a bad mood just reflects on you. He took pictures said he'd send an estimate via email. I said ok I didn't know the lady that schedule the appointment had given them an email. The next day I told they lady they said they are emailing you. She said oh really how is that? I said don't they have your email she said No! I never gave them my email. This was last week Thursday. I called yesterday 5/16/19 ask them to email the estimate again gave them my email, receptionist said I'll send it right over. Never got that email. Today 5/17/19 they call me this lady is confused can't hear me doesn't even know what's going on. I told her look lady I'm not happy with your service told her everything that happened. Did she listen to my concern NO! She was to worried about making a sale. With this type of service I had to tell her thank you for everything but please do not call us again. Roto Rooter I really do hope you work on getting better employees who deliver great customer service. This could of been a $1000.00 job you just lost. Next. Well today May 17, 19 at 3:17 they had the original tech that came by their first time stop by. I came to the door and waved him to leave and nodded no don't bother us. What part of do not call us again did you just not get.

I don’t recommend going through roto rooter for plumbing services. They came to fix the handle for the shower not once but 4 times now! Each time they say the part is bad they leave the bathroom a mess and don’t check to see if they’ve fixed the problem. When they left this last time we didn’t have any cold water.

They came very quickly and listened to what I wanted. I was stupid and burst a pipe in my backyard. They came fairly quickly. I wasn't sure if I wanted to cap it off or install a new spigot. He explained everything and helped me do what I wanted at the least expensive price.

I am thoroughly disgusted by their employees. I was at a local hardware store last week and they were understandably very busy since everyone is starting their a/cs and such. The employees at the hardware store were stretched thin and working as hard as they could. Upon trying to pay, the technician for Roto Rooter, Scott, started belittling the hardware employee in front of all the other customers. He made statements about him not knowing how to read or spell and made a huge production of it. All of us in line were appalled by his behavior and it makes me question the type of people associated with this company. Scott saw, as the rest of us did, that the cashier was trying to talk to 2 people, look up something, and the computer was giving him problems. The employee was embarrassed but held his tongue and continued to be professional, something that Scott should learn. As a customer, it makes me wonder how Roto Rooter's employees would treat me, so I think I will pass and call a different plumber. I hope the owner of Roto Rooter realizes how their employees represent them in public.
