For our new bathroom I got four separate quotes to do the rough in and install the fixtures. Bryan from AUD called me back right away to schedule a site visit. They sent a tech to survey the job and they e-mailed me a detailed quote the next morning. Their price was slightly higher than the lowest bid (BUT WHEN I CALL THEM WITH QUESTIONS THEY ANSWER THEIR PHONE). Both days AUD's techs showed up on time and it was obvious that they knew their craft. Nothing ever goes as planned on an install and their tech Chris went the extra mile to finish the job. Thanks for a great job.
Converted my Mother's home from Oil to Gas heating. AUD worked tirelessly, from 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. to complete installation and hook-up to PSE& G meter so she had no loss of heat or hot water at anytime of that day. They also returned next day to install new heat valve for hot water baseboard in bathroom. My mother was 95 yrs old at the time, and AUD understood her situation. Their expertise, and compassion, in my opinion, is not always found in many contractors. Their pricing is competitive, and their workmanship is excellent. Even to the point of having to drill a vent hole for her direct vent gas furnace. Her basement foundation wall was built in the 50's, needless to say, after wearing out one drill bit, they worked tirelessly to get the job done, in one day. HIGHLY recommend AUD for any/all plumbing/heating needs.
Horrible! Very unprofessional. I was working from home waiting for someone to show up to fix the heating issue we discussed with them on saturday and they told me it was their answering service and they never communicated with them so I don't have an appointment in first place. When I told them why do I suffer for the miscommunication/discrepancy with the service, the manager, Jennifer used abusive language telling me "I" am responsible for the miscommunication with the answering service and not them. I am still shell shocked at the worst response to a customer call I ever encountered. Never got to using around the service since my phone was banged down.
Pricey. But very punctual and reliable.
