Purchased a Gould jet pump when my pump failed and called 45 minutes before closing. Was given a price of $716 dollars. So I went pick up and installed myself. The whole time thinking this is an outrageous price. After installing and settling down I went online to price out the pump and found other dealers selling the same pump for $289 dollars. I called Policy the next morning and asked what their return policy was. I was told that I could return it if it was still in the box. But I installed it. I asked about the $425 dollar difference and was told that was their price and that you can always find it cheaper online. That maybe true but $425 dollar difference. That's price gouging if not theft. I put a call into the Better Business Bureau and AG office and just wanted to put it out there. Your being robbed by this company.

After recently bragging about the lifespan of my well pump, over 30 years old, sure enough, One morning we woke without any water pressure throughout the house... I called policy well and pump at 9AM and by 11 AM, Andy and Kevin were at my door. They assessed the problem, clearly explained how my old system worked and what my options were going forward...Both were very friendly and professional and I highly recommend them....

Had Brian and helper Dave out to check our well and pump as we thought we needed a new pump. Was told during visit that it was not our pump but we needed to drill a deeper well. They suggested that we leave our water off for 24 hours and see if our pressure increases, if not we would need to get a new well. Pressure didn't come back after 24 hours so I called Policy Well and Pump to come back and do the well. They don't actually do the well/drilling and subcontract it out and they come back after and put the pump in. I called their subcontractor and left a message for the scheduler to contact me. Thank goodness he didn't call back right away because I was able to have a second company come while waiting for this phone call back. And it turns out it was just the pump and should have been diagnosed by Policy Well and Pump originally. Instead of a new well $12,000 it cost me $1,000 for a new pump. Won't be using Policy Well and Pump or recommending them to any family or friends. Called the office as they charged me $150 for misdiagnosing what was needed and was told this was fair but they should have suggested that they come back again for a second trip/diagnostic to make sure we needed a well. Their lack of communication/knowledge/suggestions almost cost me a lot of money! First response was a one star then upon their response I've changed it to 3. After reading their response I came back in and changed it to 3 stars. There was a break down in communication and I was glad to hear they might use this situation as a learning tip of ways to improve. We had water above the pump and he could have done a test but didn't. The reason why I know this is the next company came out and performed the test at the same water levels. We had plenty of water to do the required test as we never ran out of water just low pressure. He said to wait 24 hours and told us how to test the level and it was the same no better no worse. (We did not run out of water and used as normal the next day - just low water pressure) I called to have the well replace because that was the next course of action on your paperwork. Being new to this situation I was unaware I should have made sure the water pressure was checked. Again, I learning experience for both. Thank you for the credit to my credit card!

Last night my well pump simply stopped working leaving me without water anywhere! I had heard of Policy so decided to give them a call. They have an emergency number with someone readily on call. A very nice man had me try a few things before deciding I needed a service call which he set up for this morning. Right on time Rick and Tyler arrived to save the day! For a reasonable fee I have water once again. Rick and Tyler were quick, kind and efficient. They explained everything as they worked. I highly recommend Policy Well and Pump. Thank you Rick and Tyler for a job well done!

I loved dealing with Policy Well and Pump! They were recommended by a friend and more than lived up to their great reputation. They were right on time, very honest and tried to minimize the repairs and cost. I would use them again or recommend to a friend anytime
