Andres (Andy) Tellez gave outstanding service to us on Wednesday June 26, 2019. His professionalism, courtesy, and competence makes him one of the best I've seen in 40 years. We requested maintenance on a weak flush in one toilet. He arrived on time, presented himself with a calm, good spirit, diagnosed the problem, and recommended toilet replacement to the management company rather than fixing and returning in three months to fix again. He explained his decision. He returned and replaced the toilet within an hour or so. Andres is a credit to Bayshore Plumbers and any organization with which he is associated.

Last December, our water heater was leaking & we got Bayshore Plumbing to replace it--promptly, I should add. We were charged $6,700 (no, that is not a typo)--a price that is probably double what we should have been charged and is at least 75% too high (we subsequently learned). I do not like to be taken advantage of. There was not extensive plumbing. This was not a night or week-end. They saw a high end house in a high-end neighborhood and got what they could. Be forewarned--this is a company that will take advantage of you if they see the opportunity.

I can't say enough about the excellent service that I received from the team at Bayshore Plumbers. My 50 year old home had a major sewer and drainage back-up just two days before Thanksgiving. Foreman Andy promptly came to my home, assessed what needed to be done and gave me an Estimate. I needed to have the entire drainage system beneath my home replaced as well as the sewer line from the house to the street! Andy's team of three young men were clean, polite and very prompt. They worked diligently to get this project completed as quickly as possible, even working through Thanksgiving day! I was very concerned about several precious 40 year old plants that were part of my front yard land- scaping. Andy's men took extra time and effort to carefully dig them up with their roots in tact to give them the best chance of surviving this ordeal. After the plumbing work was completed, they re-planted the two shrubs back into the ground before they left. I so appreciated the extra time and care that they gave to my project. I was extremely disappointed with this service. We had an issue with our Noritz tankless heater and there was no hot water in the house. We called Bayshore and they promptly sent a plumber. He arrived, took a sneak peak at the heater, and said that a diagnostic would cost $350 before he does any work at all. This sounded like an unrealistic amount, was not communicated on the phone when booking the service and delivered in a pretty rude way. After the plumber left (we of course didn't end up using the service) I was able to diagnose the issue myself with Noritz on the phone in 15 minutes. I then got another plumbing service to perform full maintenance on the heater and replace the mixing valve (which was leaking) for $350 total - without anything paid for a diagnostic.

Sam did an excellent job installing a sewer cleanout for our property. We are super happy about the great work he & his Bayshore Plumbing crew performed for us. They were excellent all around in terms of availability, timeliness, & skills. And also very cost conscientious. But where Sam's outstanding character really showed through was in his dedication to completing our job even when the County chose to stall our project, not for any valid reason but b/c their records were outdated. Our 3 day project turned into a month long project, but Sam stuck by us and showed up every time and did everything he could to expedite & work with the County so that our project could finally be finished. I wish that every contractor that I hire could have such high morals & work ethic. Obviously, if we have any plumbing needs in the future, Sam & Bayshore Plumbing will be immediately getting our call.
