American Leak Detection

Very quick at finding the water leak in our front yard, even though it was 3 ft deep with no visible signs above. Was able to repair the leak the same day. Also fixed the sidewalk, which had to be partially removed to get to the leak. However, we were disappointed that no care was taken at all for our landscaping. We have decorative edging rocks all around the border of our front yard. The area that had to be dug up was only around 2ft by 2ft. The 2ft row of edging rocks could have easily been set aside in less than a minute. Instead, they were dug up with the rest of the area and eventually buried with the dirt. Same thing with the monkey grass that was above the leak. Also, no tarp was put on the grass where the dirt was piled. Disappointed that after $1900 we now have a weekend project to cleanup the mess left behind, when just a few minutes of care could have prevented it.

Knew where our leak was, but not how bad or how to fix ourselves. Dennis and his technician came out as soon as possible to identify the leak and showed/explained everything to us. The guys fixed the leak in no time and we were highly satisfied with the overall job. We will recommended you to anybody that has or thinks they may have a leak. American Leak Detection was right on the mark finding our water line leak. Extremely happy with the service. This allowed our repair service fix the leak the next day.

Terrible customer service and the owner does not care if his technicians take hours to find a leak that is simple to find. Our technician was looking all up and down our sidewalk instead of behind the building along the pipe that ran to our bathroom. I told him more than once during the 3 hours he looked for the leak that the pipe ran behind the building. The owner doesn't care if his technicians do as they say either. The technician promised he would refer us back to Cary Plumbing once the leak was diagnosed but he did not once it was time to fix the leak and he charged us twice what Cary Plumbing would have charge. When I told the owner this information via phone, he started arguing with me instead of hearing me out and made excuse after excuse for his inexperienced technician. This will be the first and LAST time they ever see a dime of our money.

The owner called and set up an appointment, called to confirm when he was on his way, and found the leaking pipe and after calling me and discussing it, he capped the pipe for me at no extra charge. Great service! I hope I never have to call him again, but if I ever need another leak detected, I'll call this business.
