Home Services at The Home Depot

Ordered a solid surface counter top through Home Depot. I asked Home Depot's contract installers to place the sink in the same location as the upstairs bathroom. They never bothered to measure and placed the sinks too close to the front of the cabinet saying they placed it in the "standard location". I checked with 3 other counter top installers and they said there is no such thing as a "standard location". The sink should be in the center of the counter top. Home Depot and the installer blamed it on me and refused to fix the problem. Needless to say when you hire someone to do a job like this you are relying on their expertise. There is none here. I would recommend using anyone other than Home Depot for custom anything. All they did was add another layer of management and hassle. Thanks from a dissatisfied customer.

Waited three months for window order & install. Windows are not the brand of window we asked for, & wrong color!

The home depot is a good place to get supplies and materials and is a fair priced place for tools but when it comes install services you might want to really way your options there tends to be a lot of hassle and delay you may not expect .
