American Plumbing

We had a situation with a faucet that while not an emergency, it was urgent that it be repaired. I called American Plumbing around 10:00am and was informed that a technician would be at our house between 1-3 the same day, and was asked if that was okay. I said yes, that would be great! At around 1:20, I received a phone call from their office advising that the technician was on his way. The technician was professional and knowledgeable about the problem, and he explained how and why the situation happened, as well as how he repaired it, and what I can do to prevent excessive loss of water should the problem happen again to another faucet. In general, he explained everything in detail and so that I’d understand, and without making me feel stupid for asking a question. Everyone I spoke to at American Plumbing was helpful and friendly, and the experience was calming and very impressive. Plus, the cost of the repair was quite reasonable, especially with the urgency of the matter. I highly recommend American Plumbing!!!

I was referred to American Plumbing by Whirlpool Corporation to have a recall repair work done on my homes water heater! They responded very quickly, which was appreciated because the Water heater's burner no longer work, so no hot water for the house. A technician showed up early the next morning, and the repair was finished within a hour. Judging by the example of courtesy and Professionalism for this repair, I would definitely reccomend American Plumbing to others.

Called American Plumbing and scheduled a quote. The plumber came out and was really irritated and rude that it wasn't the issue that was originally given to him. Turns out it was just a hardware replacement and he fixed it on the spot. I am grateful he fixed it but it cost me an arm and a leg. I would have preferred he told me what the issue was and let me know the cost before finishing the job.

We had a leak that we thought was going to be a nightmare. We must have called six or seven different people to come out to look at the leak. It was bad enough that I had to shut the water off. I called and got a nice dispatcher and not even five minutes later I got a call from Rob. He was at our house within 30 minutes and had fixed the leak in under an hour! Very professional and QUICK!

Yellow pages says free quotes. They came out, measured several pipes quoted approx. 800.00 and that it would take the biggest part of a day. Came out at 9:30 was done at 11:30, replaced one area that he measured. Husband said, you saud it would take most if the day, it only took 2 hours and I am not paying almost 400.00 an hour. He said well I will knock off 150.00. Husband said, 325.00 is ridiculous. Daughter spoke with owner, owner said we gave to charge for the quote (yellow pages said was free) and he saud the van gas a GPS and it said he was here an extra 45 minutes ( he sat out in his van in front of the house and did not have any further contact with us. Way to treat a 70 year old disabled Viet Nam Veteran.
