I had an emergent situation in my home, I was unable to use my shutoff valve and had a bathroom that was getting ruined from water. These guys are great, fast service, professional, knowledgeable and polite Staff. Thanks Jason-you were a live saver! Would definitely recommend this company!

GVL Plumbing is an honest and easy company to work with! They did a complete master bathroom remodel for me from beginning to end. The young man who gave me a bid was wonderful- very professional and thoroughly explained the process from when they started until they finished. Fast and Professional service. I broke an old metal pipe behind my wall while trying to clear a clog. GVL plumbing came out within a few days and replaced the pipe. The patched the wall and reinstalled the vanity and toilet that had to be removed. Very satisfied with the work.

This is a review not on this company's actual service but on the gentleman who came out to look at the work I need ed done to give me a bid. This was the most unfriendly., rude experience I've ever had with a contractor. He spent all of about 5 minutes in my home looking at what I needed to have done, which was having two stacks replaced and the lead pipes going from those Stacks to the drains of my sinks replaced. When he found out I intended to do the finish work myself, which was replacing the sinks and the toilets, he informed me that I needed to get a permit to do that. I have been in contact with Ballwin City Hall throughout this whole house remodel, speaking to them about things I can and cannot do without permits and making sure I did things I could do up to code. So I had already covered this issue with Ballwin City Hall. When I told him I had spoken to the Ballwin inspector already about that specific thing and found out that I did not need to get a permit to just replace fixtures that had already been there, he told me I was wrong and he didn't know who I was talking to but he'd been in the business for a long time and he knew what was right. When I started to explain to him that I'd spoken to the Head inspector at Ballwin he actually cut me off and said, in an angry voice, I KNOW you have to have a permit. And then told me he wouldn't do this job anyway without doing the Finish. So I guess that's what he was angry about that he wasn't doing the whole bathroom remodel but only the plumbing that I needed a professional to do. I am still actually in shock at the absolutely unprofessional behavior of this plumber. I'm not saying anything at all about their actual work because I don't have a clue how good or bad they are, and I will never find out as I will never use this company.
