BEST COMPANY TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! They are very prompt to take care of your request, and their technicians solve the problems quickly and effectively. I called around 8:15 in the morning, and I was contacted by the technician thirty minutes later. The issue that I have with them, and today reminded many of all the other times we have used them over the years, is the cost. They charge per hour, and that includes driving time, according to the technician. He came here at 9:08, took a look at the problem and left to get parts. 50 minutes later, he started working on the water heater. He was done in half an hour. Went out to his van and, at 10: 45, gave me a bill for 2 hours and a half. I spent on repairs a third of the cost of a new heater. I guess the cost of repairs includes not only driving time, but also breakfast time, and maybe breakfast. In an update to my review, I need to add that they didn't solve the problem, and a few days later my water heater started leaking again, and it destroyed the ceiling of my bathroom in the basement. I called a different plumbing service, and they asked me to describe the leak. Then, they asked for a picture of the leak, and they said that it was clear that I needed to replace the water heater, and they refused to charge me for the consultation. I bought a new heater, and the technician that installed it, explained to me that all the work done by Saterlee was unnecessary. I ended up spending fifteen hundred dollars as a result, twice the cost of replacing the heater. So, if you have time, emotional energy, and money to waste, Saterlee is your company of choice.

Paid $170 for a visit and after about 15 polite calls and weeks later....still no estimate. Needed for a time sensitive job for the purchase of a house. Nice enough, but...

Heater quit blowing warm air and it’s 15 degree outside on a Friday morning. Was super worried I wouldn’t be able to get someone to come out before the weekend and two other places I called were booked for 1 - 2 weeks out. Satterlee came out same day and fixed it. Technician was very nice and respectful and got the job done as quickly as he could. It was a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for!! Good, timely service!!

Never use this company. The actual plumber that came to my home was amazing and did a wonderful job. Dealing with the company, and apparently the owner, has been the worst experience. I told them not to run my debit card for the full amount because I was bringing them checks. They ran it anyway multiple times and for different amounts. I brought them the checks and and received a call before I'm even 2 minutes away from the owner saying that he is going to file criminal charges against me. When I called him back he is extremely aggressive and will not listen. He talked over me and wouldn't allow me to say a word. This is the worst company to use. Hopefully the men who work for them will find better jobs at other locations. Apparently if you don't comply with them bullying you, the office staff and owner will come together and form a lie about you to attempt to bully you further into thinking that they will file criminal charges. I have found out this is apparently a common tactic with contractors that are bullies. Unfortunately for them, I do have an attorney. When I informed the owner that I do have an attorney and they can give her a call, he called me a liar and continued to yell. Do not let bullies pressure you. I have called to inform them that I will be mailing another check for the remaining amount. Though since their first response to things not going their way was to be a bully, rude and lie, they will have to wait longer than they would have had to to get their money than the 30 minutes to allow me to get home to give them a call when I was ready. I refuse to speak to the owner due to his behavior, but I'm not willing to actually let a debt go unpaid. Now to give everybody a review of their regular policies and staff: The plus side is that the plumber knew what he was doing and got to us very quickly. That is the reason why I went with this company. The downsides of this company are that they charge $15 more per hour than other plumbers, they charge for the time that they call you to say they're on their way and getting into their car and driving to you. They also charge you for the Plumbers time after he is done with the job and sits in his car for a half an hour writing out a hand-written bill on back of a scratch paper and does the math there. Then you are also charged an extra half an hour after he leaves to give him time to get back to the company even though it only took him 10 minutes to get there the first time. The person in the billing department refuses to call the people who have been told are the ones paying for half and will run your card for an amount that you told them not to run it for. The owner is one of the largest bullies in this field that I have ever spoken to. I know bully contractors are not uncommon, but he is the definition of a bully. Also they do not have you sign any form of contract. I was not given a list of cost for these jobs before completed. (While I had to step away to get a child from school, he fixed more things than was asked. He found out one of my toilets had a valve that was running a lot and replaced it. He did not call me while I was away to ask if I would like him to do that, he just did it and charged me for his time and the part. I believe that's unethical.) All in all, I would say never use their services if a secondary person/realtor/Insurance Agency is going to be paying part for you, never use their services if you would like to save a lot of money somewhere else, and never use their services if you want to be bullied. I would only recommend that you use their services if you are in an extreme situation and no other plumber was available and you are comfortable with being bullied. If I had known that I was going to be dealing with this bully, I would have waited another a week without water.

Prices are higher but you get experienced staff that know what they're doing. They had my issue resolved very quickly.
