Still upset after a weeks time has passed with my experience with Matt’s Plumbing. Two guys were at my home for no more than 10 minutes. What they did was replace a fitting on a hose going to my washing machine. Cost... $395.00 I thought I was getting ripped off and the more people I tell about it... I know I was totally ripped off! I will never do business with these people and I am telling everyone I know!

Matt's Plumbing Solutions came highly recommended to us from a good friend. Matt came out to give an estimate to replace a very old toilet and vanity in our South Minneapolis home. In the process he looked at some plumbing beneath the bathroom that we have questions about. Matt was able to provide excellent information and solutions to our problems at a reasonable price. Scheduling with the team was easy. They came out and replaced the two fixtures as well as most of the piping beneath. They did an amazing job! When the toilet cracked a couple weeks later due to an issue with the old original flange, Matt came out right away to fix the problem. He and the team were friendly and I felt very comfortable having them in our home. We are new to Minneapolis and it gives me great peace of mind to know we have someone we can trust in the future. Thank you Matt for everything!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Matt's plumbing. The plumber was 3 hours late. Upon arrival, he did not take his shoes off or ask if I minded. Next, he briefly viewed my shower where the leak was coming from. The plumber did not remove the face plate to look further. Further, he went over to my wall where a face plate is and cut it open. The plumber quickly determined that I need a full replacement to fix the leak and it would be $1,295. He asked me to give him $400 and then $895 when the repairs were complete. Alas, he said I would need to call a carpenter to repair my wall. I gave him the service fee of $65 and asked him to leave. After having a second plumber come out, they were able to look behind the face plate in my shower and repair the leak for SIGNIFICANTLY less money. I feel that Matt's plumbing did not even try to fix the issue before cutting into my wall. Also, the 2nd plumber who did the repair fixed my wall for me, which was very nice and not required on their behalf. Overall, I would never use their service again and feel I was being taken advantage of.

I made an appointment for some plumbing 2 weeks before I wanted the work done. I was scheduled for a window of 9-11am. 11:30 no show, no call. I called and left a message. No return call. 12:30 called and left a message. No return call. 1:30p I called and left a message to cancel. Never did hear from Matt’s. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your time with them.

They are the best! You can tell that they love what they do!
