This week yesterday 12/20/18 Sila provided a "free" HVAC furnace inspection. In the past I've had them charge my refidgerent. I spent alot of money doing that with Sila. Here we are in heating season and thought I would take them up on the offer to inspect. Things seemed to go well until it came to the capacitor. The tech pulled the capacitor out tested it, said it was running low. He then said it was $186.00 dollars in time and materials. I know and varified that a Goodman capacitor is runs about $10 dollars for me. It also took him 5 minutes to take it out then put it back. I asked him to put it back...Before he did I saw him jamb the leads of his multi-testor into the end of the capacitor. Anyway, he put things back and it ran for about 28 hours. Tonight, as I sit here the weekend before Christmas, with kids sleeping, I smell electrical shorting. At that point my only source of heat stops. I knew instantly what was done. There is no coincidence that my furnace went out. A day after the inspection. I implore Sila to correct this matter fast. I've called the emergency line twice...no response. This is the tip of the iceberg (as I now sit here in a cold house). I need this fixed. R Chaney in Catonsville... Fix the problem.

We needed to replace our old Unico high pressure air conditioning system. Our team leader was Brentin Cottrell. He accurately evaluated our requirements and discussed options for installation. The team members were knowledgeable and helped us determine where to place the new vents, providing excellent advice during the installation. Their work was performed quickly, professionally and was completed on schedule. All debris was collected at the end of each working day. The price was reasonable and we are very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Sila for similar work in the future and I intend to hire them to maintain our system.
