Sila Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing

We contacted Sila on Monday morning to request a service call because our A/C wasn't cooling the house. An appointment was made for Wed between 1-4pm. We received a courtesy call at 12:55pm to tell us that their service person Bob would arrive in 15 minutes. He did. Bob had reviewed our file and was familiar with our system. He went up to the attic to check things out and then checked the equipment outside. He found an electrical problem outside. He checked our electrical panel to see if a fuse needed to be flipped. When that didn't work, he recommended contacting a licensed electrician. Bob also noted that our outside fan is located 10 inches too close to the house which limits air circulation and may be the reason why (in previous years) our house doesn't get as cool as it might otherwise. We will follow up with Sila to see if they can correct that placement problem. We also need to clear the area around the fan so plants don't cause any problems in the future. So, I'm giving an overall of 4 stars because we got a diagnosis of the problem from today's Sila visit, but not a repair. Bob was 5 stars worth of helpful, kind and professional, as has been the case with everyone we have interacted with at Sila over the last 6 years.

I was pleased they were able to come the day I called. The service man was prompt and explained everything as I went along - and when he was in my attic, he saw another problem - unrelated to my AC - which needed my attention. Anyway I've used them for years and have always been pleased with their work.

Jorvere (I believe that's how you spell it) was really personable and very professional. He came in, diagnosed the problem and quickly corrected it. It was a great experience.

Very thankful for Sila. They were able to send a technician on the same day I called to schedule an appointment. The technician was able to fix an issue with my air conditioning other companies could not figure out. I will be using them for future services.

Marcus was an excellent service tech. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously very thorough in his evaluation of my HVAC unit. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what was going on and giving me options on how best to fix my unit. He built trust in himself and for his company. Thanks again Marcus!
