After the snafu iwth the first appointment, the service and follow-up was excellent. I think the mishap was with the communication between Angie's List and your office. You were professional, updated me on your arrival, and really patient as I live in Georgia and coordinating this work in Boston with only telephone access. Trying to get a project moving long distance is daunting and requires an extra effort in terms of communication. Thank you for your support and professionalism! Well worth the wait. I look forward to working with you.

Great service! The service tech Richard was very knowledgeable. Their technology for payment and estimate is top notch. My A/C unit is running very well now

After a weekend when I attempted to compete in the Senior Club Championship at Shaker Hills CC with new irons while totally distracted by the failure of my hot water heater and, what seemed to be more important, my need to purchase “shower shoes” in order to clean myself up at my club... this “tribulation” is now over... not for the faint of heart I tell you... Anyway, today I find myself very impressed with Addario's Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical who, in my mind, took on the “herculeaden” task of replacing my hot water heater, getting it hooked up and everything cleaned up, and lastly schlepping the now defunct GE to its final resting place... I must say the workmanship, work effort, responsiveness and competence of Addario’s professional plumber and service representatives impressed the heck out of me. The 10% Veteran’s didn’t hurt either. Hooah!

Had to give 1 star because 0 wasn't available. I don't know how anyone could give them a better rating. These people are thieves and shysters!! Stay Away at all cost. In June 2017 I had them come out to replace a leaking gate valve with a ball valve. The leaking valve was behind a wall in a So. Boston renovated apartment. I was charged ~$500 to do that. Without us knowing, because they cut the wall and then replaced the wall they cut out, they only added the ball valve but left the leaking gate valve. In about December 2018 I visited the apartment and went to test the valve. I just never thought to look at it before that time. I realized they left the leaking gate valve and installed the ball valve just six inches from it. Holy Stupid! I contacted them and asked them to replace the gate valve. This time they wanted $1100 to repair what they did not previously repair. I tried to deal reasonably with them. Contacted them 5 times explaining they are trying to charge us again for what they should have done. Each time they said they're going to talk to the owner and get back to me. Crickets!! Never heard from them. So I finally had another MA licensed plumber do the work and he charged $275 (versus Addario's estimate of $1100). I called today and reached a recalcitrant supervisor, JOHN. I asked that he simply refund me the $79 recent estimating fee to give me the ridiculous $1100 estimate (to fix what they screwed up) when it only cost $275 to fix. He refused saying that how can I prove the gate valve was leaking in 2017, and that they were only asked install a ball valve. It is amazing that his memory is so good about two years ago when he says he didn't even work for the company at that time. I mentioned why would I call a plumber to add a gate valve 6 inches away from a working gate valve. I offered to send photos but he wanted nothing to do with this situation. For $79 he could have made it go away. Not John. So, with John's wonderful attitude, one can add HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, to thieves. Well Done John the Supervisor! Stay away from these people.

Service guy showed up an hour and twenty minutes past the original time they gave me but they did keep me updated. Their prices are quite expensive. However, the technician who came knew what he was doing (my forced air gas furnace stopped working) and it was the heat sensor that needed cleaning and probably to be replaced. I asked him if I could do myself and he showed me how. He was awesome and saved me $300. All in all it cost me $258 to have him come out, clean a toothpick sized piece of metal and leave. However he was very nice and gave me sound advice! I would recommend if you have the dough! But they probably all make a killing... the parts which I checked on before hand for my unit would have been marked up by almost 6 times the price!
