They may have the greatest knowledge in the plumbing field but the dispicable attitudes of the employees is always and image destroyer. Definitely would not utilize there services.
Abominable service! Technician left without fixing either the main unit or our 2 Fujitsu’s. Office told us that our yearly “maintenance “ appointment did not include service time! On top of that, they were too backed up to even schedule a follow-up service call. That was over 3 weeks ago and we still haven’t heard from them. Needless to say, we were finally able to secure service from another company, only to learn that too much of the wrong coolant had been put into our main unit ( a costly repair for us). So beware - this company is not what it used to be and should be avoided at all costs.
The Cape recently went through a deep freeze, with single digit temps for over a week. As a result, a pipe in my house froze and burst. That morning, I called over 25 local companies. All of the companies told me that they were so busy with burst pipes that they might not be able to accept new customers. They told me they would check with the crew that day and call me back if they could fit me in. Whiteley was the only company to actually follow up. They called me back to tell me that they could actually make it. I never heard from the other 24 places I called. Even if it was a "no, sorry we are just too busy", knowing whether or not they could help would have been appreciated. Additionally, the woman over the phone was incredibly friendly and answered my questions on what to do while I waited for the plumber. This really helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful situation. The plumber arrived and got the job done in a timely manner. 5 stars for the work done, and if I could give more for customer service I would.
There is a big problem at this company. I have been using them for years for both HVAC and plumbing. I called to ask for repair service for my kitchen sink. They told me it would be over a month before they could send someone, unless it was an “emergency”. I explained that I was a long-term customer and have paid them thousands over the years. I also said I wanted to fix this before it becomes an emergency. They said they would call call me back. When they did, they offered something only a few days earlier than previously offered. Did a bunch of their workers quit? Do they not pay their people enough? Did they over-commit to new building jobs leaving repair customers in the lurch? It is extremely disappointing.
First time I called them to fix a leak , the young man was nice and did a good job. That is the pro , the cons . They didn’t have parts and was going to have to order them ( not a big deal) but lucky for me I had them at the house already. 2nd time they came out was for a water back up, they told my husband he needed to call roto man ( he is my husbands Cousin) and then charged us 280 for the advice. 3 rd time , came out found the problem , said they could fix it. Need to order part , left and then we received a call from the service department and said they could not do the work since it was from a previous plumber and the job might take to long. I told them the plumber who was doing the house went out of business almost 2 years ago and that the plumbing inspector had ok’d the house. Long story short , we have been billed 580 for them to fix one problem and give advice for the rest. ( the fix cost 150) As a business owner , I would have never acted the way they did . ( The last plumber they sent didn’t know I could hear them in my basement when they made unnecessary remarks) and then was rude to my face when I asked how soon they could get it fixed before they left. Should have known then that he was lying that they would be back. If you use them , good luck. The first Person they sent is probably the nicest one of the bunch.
