I contacted American Wastewater Systems in need of a sewer system. This company came highly recommended by a friend who had recently used them for the installation of a similar system to what I needed. When I contacted the company the owner himself spoke to me on the phone and explained to me exactly what I needed and why. He came out to my property to take a look and give me a quote. At no time did I feel pressured, and in fact, the owner even recommended that I contact other companies for comparison. At the end of the job there were no hidden or additional fees. The price was exactly as agreed upon from the beginning. They showed up and executed the job on the agreed date and in a very timely manner. My wife and I were treated with extreme respect the whole time they were on the job. When the job was complete my wife and I were amazed with the quality of the work and you could hardly even tell that they had just dug massive holes and trenches in our yard. I'm sure the plumbers here provide good service, but the lady who makes the calls does not. She costed the business a loss when I called to schedule a plumber to come out to fix our plumbing issue. Our line was backing up and motor was not coming on. We had power going to it which we verified. System kept backing up. She and I argued back in forth with her stating that they wouldn't be able to do anything and that I needed to call an electrician. Come to find out, Rotor Rooter found a rag in our line that was causing a back up which was preventing our motor to come on because there wasn't a level in the sump to turn the sprinklers on. Please coach her on how to have better customer service, and to actually listen to the customer. I'm not sure if she is a plumber or not, but if she isn't, it's not best for her to give plumbing advice. And if she is, please retrain her.
