Took a while to get him here but it's hard to get a plumber. He was quick checked out other issues I had and didnt charge me all kinds of "extras" like some of these guys do. Deffo will be call again !!!! Very satisfied with the work!
I hired Johnathon Blum plumbing to install a gas line to my fireplace. He gave me an estimate that I thought was high but figured his work would be justified on his invoice. He told me he charged $100 hr which I was fine with. The job took 1hr and 45 min and he said the parts were $100. When he gave me the invoice it was for $650 with no itemization. I figured it would be about $350 with taxes. When I asked what was the rest of the bill for he said that’s what I quoted. I told him I wanted an itemized bill to know what he was charging me for. He began to add time to travel to and from the job. He also added time to go get parts. Even after making up bogus charges he still couldn’t explain $75 of the bill. What a rip off! He just makes up a number for the job, not what he fairly earned. When the job was done we smelled gas. He came back because of a faulty valve. He then wanted another $250 to replace a simple valve. Talk about price gouging There is no way in hell I was going to pay him another dime.
