My mom hired him to repair a bedroom and he quoted her 7400 And she payed half up front. He never got any materials with that money then said he needed money for the floor beams And he doesn't show up and he makes up excuses. Then he unhooked the got water heater and left her with 3 kids for days with no hot water for baths. Not very happy
This guy came in and charged $70 and did nothing. Said that we needed new water heater, water pump, etc. It ended up being a $8 cartridge that another company fixed in 5 minutes.
Seemed rather expensive. Had a dishwasher installed (old one was already removed), and replaced a valve and the connecting hot water pipe. An hour for the pipes wasn't bad, but two hours to put in the new dishwasher? Close to $300 putting in a dishwash just felt like a lot. He is talkative, which is nice to have someone friendly, but at almost $1 an minute, that can get expensive too. If I had knew how much it was going to cost, we would have made a few more phone calls first. It would be nicer if he apply her $65 service fee towards the first hour of labor to soften the blow. $120 for the first hour hurts.
My grandma left him a voicemail a couple of weeks ago and has yet to receive a call back.
