Ameri-Plumb was the contractor that I had to use through my home warranty company and it was a terrible experience. I had an "emergency case" because the plumbing issue I had was in the only full bathroom I have in my house. The issue was that the valve broke in the hot water faucet handle in my tub/shower but also had to replace some of the piping. I was told I was going to hear from them within the next 24 hours and I didn't so I called to schedule them to come out. They were supposed to come out the next day, between 3:30-4:30pm. Well 6pm rolls around and they still haven't shown up. I received a call that his boss provided him the wrong phone number... Anyway, we rescheduled for 9am the next morning. The guy didn't actually show up until 10:15am and had his girl friend with him. After figuring out the issue, he gave my a quote at $385. Ten minutes later, he receives a call from his boss who then said it was $502. Not cool! After the guy gave me the quote, he then had to collect a service fee of $60, but they never said it had to be cash or a check. So I had to run to the bank and get cash out because they aren't with the times and don't take debit/credit cards. Day of installment, the guy was only 25 minutes later than estimated and the work seems to have been done well but he left a mess. He didn't clean up well at all so now I'm cleaning up his mess and my original (1924) wood floors are scratched from his tools, as well as I believe he cracked one of my tiles in my bathroom. I would never recommend using this company! Thankfully I'm fortunate to work from home and didn't have to take 4 days off.

One of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Ameriplumb was selected by my home warranty company to fix a broken spa tub. After taking a half day off work for my appointment, they failed to show up. The next time (also after taking a half day off work) they were late, so I called the office, only to find out I wasn't on their schedule yet again. This time they came out anyway (2 hours after their 4 hour window had closed) and collected my $100 deductible. From there it was phone call after phone call to try and get them out to actually make the repair. My warranty expired and I never got the tub fixed. They were quick to cash that check, though. FRAUD!

Jon came to my house to fix a problem with our toilet. The tank was not filling properly. After he left, we found out much later that the waterline was leaking. My wife and I weren't around for a day and a half after only to find out later that water had leaked all over the bathroom floor and through to the ceiling of our basement and dripping on our carpet. Jon came back the following day and told me that we must have bumped the water line to the toilet (as if that were a good reason for a line to leak!). He had no interest in determining if it had been his fault (which that is the only possible explanation) and true to his unprofessional form he stormed out of my house saying he isn't liable for what happens when he leaves the property. Apparently the only thing he would be liable for is if a pipe completely burst while he is still at your house. He was assigned to me by my home warranty company. He is a one man operation and has no intention of taking responsibility for his mistakes. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!

They took 2 weeks to install our broken furnace! They told us they were ready to install our broken furnace before snowpocalypse 2014 hit, we just needed the money first. We had the money, then they tell us they were "locating" unit for 2 weeks! So our pipes burst, our insurance say they will fix it, Jon comes into our home and the first thing he tells us is that its not covered by our insurance! Jon is rude, unprofessional and not willing to work with us. He doesn't pick up his phone or know how to check messages. These guys are terrible!

First of all my warranty company selected this company to complete some work on my sink and shower. The day that was scheduled by Ameri-Plumb was confirmed via telephone for a Tuesday. When Tuesday arrived no one showed up at the designated time specified. At this time my Brother called them, they tried to state that it was actually set up for that Friday not Tuesday. We chalked this up as possible miscommunication. Once Friday arrived the plumber was late. He did complete the work to the sink in the kitchen but claimed that he could not fix the shower with out redoing the plumbing because the Mixet style plumbing installed was outdated. Ok no problem when can this be done? Well he gave a good price and estimate and said that he could come back on Tuesday between 1 pm and 3 pm. Guess what? No show and no call again. At 330 pm my brother called to find out why. Apparently there was an emergency else where. He could not call ahead of time to forewarn so as not to waste my families time waiting for him for no reason. He didn't even offer an apology and said that he could come tomorrow Wednesday. To no surprise for the third time he was a no call and no show. There was also no answer at the number provided. My family has wasted 12 hours of their life waiting for services that were promised to us.
