Excellent customer service, over the phone help, follow up and scheduling. Even when they had no one immediately available - help was given to get us through the night over the phone and we had someone scheduled to come in first thing the next day. I’ve used Goodberlet for both scheduled and emergency services and have been pleased every time.
Just had our new furnace installed. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. They were prompt, courteous very polite and very efficient. I would highly recommend this company. I at first called a well known by advertisement company it turns out they did not service my area. They gave me the number for Elm heating and cooling and said they recommended this company for my area. I called and made an appointment. This company worked with my work schedule. After making the appointment I read the reviews and was very skeptical. So I right away I scheduled other companies for a quote. I found that Elm heating and cooling is now under new ownership. After weighing all the facts and quotes from the other companies. My husband and I decided to put the reviews aside and give Elm heating and cooling a chance. Wow we made a great decision they did an awesome job. Ray thank you for your time you were wonderful and the technicians that took out our old and installed the new you guys really rocked!!!! The past reviews do this company no justice. I am not a friend or relative only a true satisfied customer.
I have been with this company for several years and we just found out they have changed their name. I must say the name has changed, but the service is still the same, excellent, prompt, efficient, and reliable. Thank you for being honest and true to the company. Our furnace went out and they got the part in within two days, called me and rescheduled to come out and install. We recently moved into a house with major electrical issues. Elm sent out an electrician the same day (even in lousy winter weather). He was prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. He managed to fix all the wiring problems throughout the house and garage without having to open up the walls as we had been told elsewhere would be the case. Amazing. He and his assistant couldn't have been nicer. They wore shoe protectors and completely cleaned up after themselves. We feared a major expense, but Elm saved us a bundle and we couldn't be happier. THANK YOU!!!
UPDATE: I did not request a Trane system quote, or high efficiency. I was told it was the brand you installed, and was told not to call the office back, but the technician directly. I was not offered a second opinion. I am without heat and requested a service call. The people I spoke with were very nice, which is why I'm giving two stars as opposed to one. I was told that the repairs would be over $1500, which is not worth investing in our aging furnace. We are in the process of building an addition, so we are fine with replacing the unit, but I was given an estimate of $10,300 to replace the furnace, A/C unit and humidifier. Fortunately I'm a Property Manager and was able to get another prompt estimate for half that price. Be sure to get more than one estimate!!!
