Home Services at The Home Depot

We purchased our carpet from Home Depot during their special that happens every year where they offer free install, haul away, etc. this was the worst mistake. The carpet installers they use are terrible and have ruined the carpet. We asked for a no seam transition which was done poorly. Two months after install we started having problems. We asked to have it fixed over and over. The installers came back and told me they would fix it. No one ever has. We finally contacted Home Depot about it and they seem as if their hands are tied. They won’t force the installers to fix it. They won’t force the manufacturer to replace it. Almost a year we’ve been dealing with this and the problem keeps getting worse without any conclusion in sight. I’ve spent hours upon hours trying to get this resolved and everyone just keeps putting their hands in the air and saying it’s not their issue. I will not have to spend more money to fix and potentially replace all of this than if I had gone with a better company in the first place. Safe yourself the headache and go somewhere else!!!

I bought the most expensive kitchen counter top in this store and they made me a lot of promises. The lady who took my order gave me a lot of attention and help, but the 2 to 4 working days it would take to measure my kitchen turned into 10, and the 1 to 2 working days to come back with the final price turned into 6 working days. As you can see, after 3 weeks I still don't have a kitchen and they come back saying the final price would almost double because they'd have to use 2 slabs! WTH? I'm supposed to pay for what I'm getting. I shouldn't care about the raw materials they are using. I'm looking someplace else to buy, because this store is horrible.
