Tony came out and did an awesome job replacing several copper fittings which warped in the winter and were leaking. He went above and beyond to ensure the safety of the cabin by crafting a piece of metal flashing to protect the wood from his solder work. He was very friendly and helped us start the furnace pilot light which was having problems staying lit. After repairs were complete, he installed equipment to check the total water pressure throughout the house - he checked the other plumbing throughout as part of a final walk-through with my husband. The work was warranted for 5 years which topped off the experience (I think ROC requires 3 years). He mentioned the bad review on Google and indicated the company was trying to work through the communication issues - this is a company which is really trying to shine and we'd suggest them... contact us if you have any questions (this is a real review). We called DeMiguel Plumbing on Friday 11/22/2013. We advised the plumber of our situation and he stated that it dodnt sound like a big issue and that we might just need a roter rooter. The owner said that someone would call on Saturday morning between 8am-9am. We never recived a phone call so we called the owner and he stated that his brother said that he called us 10 times but we never answered which couldnt be any further from the truth. He then said that his brother would be there later that day which he never came. We then called the owner again and asked what was going on and he mentioned that his brother may have been "hung over" Very professional right? We then receive a call the next day from the brother apologizing for the inconveniance and that he would be there first thing MOnday morning. My husband agrees and takes the morning off but guess what no one shows up. He gets a call late monday morning around 10 stating that his truck broke down and that he was going to be late. He ends up showing up in the early part of the afternoon and has the worst attitude. He stated that the problem was too much for him to do and that he couldnt help. Remember, we already knew what the problem was but the plumbers obviously didnt listen. My husband proceeds to call the owner who is very apologetic and tells him he will be there first thing Wed morning to fix the issue. The owner calls Tuesday night and says nothing about time assuming that we would be the first on their list because of everything we have gone through. My husband again takes time off of work and again they dont show up. The owner calls at around 9 telling him that he is in northern AZ and on his way down to our house. Not long after that, he calls my husband again this time saying that his truck has broken down. Long story short.....worst company ever. They are very unprofessional and even though prices are reasonable I gather you get what you pay for. For your own good......find someone else to work with.
