A-1 Budget Plumbing

Just had Bob and his apprentice do some work at my house. Replace kitchen faucet and remove disposal. Simple work but they did it in a timely manner. Price was reasonable. Appointment was for the day before but the office called and let me know they were running behind schedule plus an emergency call came in. I appreciate them letting me know. I will continue to use them in the future. Mahalo A-1.

Reasonable hourly rate, but not by that much and plumber worked slow. To explain, work was completed at my condo by A1, but the older very local gentleman took several tries to complete one job (not labor intensive at all) for a supply line. Wasted a lot of time futting around trying to complete the job one way until he finally decided to complete the job the proper way. Ended up taking twice as long and was charged twice as much than if the guy took the proper steps and did not try to cut a corner in the first place! Honestly, I felt like he was stalling just to add time to the labor cost so not a good feeling especially when he’s supposed to be a professional plumber and know his trade. ALSO, there was a very local office lady that did not seem to care either when I reported this issue to her. Would not personally recommend A-1 Budget Plumbing anymore in 2019. Just because they are reasonable prices, does not give them the right to take twice as long. ***big sigh***

Had a situation of stopping a water leakage into the bottom unit, contacted a plumber to rectify the situation where he arrived mid morning which he just inspected the problem, no work done? So contacted A1 Budget Plumbing which clearly stated arrival time 3 to 6pm. The personal called & says plumbing tech on the way, time was 405pm. The plumber Lyold arrived @ 430pm. Immediately Lyold went to rectify the issue, change the toilet seal. Lyold completed the task little over 1hr. If I had contacted A1 plumbing at first, then the whole afternoon would utilize better. The receptionist to Lyold service ratting is an 10. Will utilize their service in the future!

Called these guys up to come fix our shop and they charged us 700$ to only say we’re gonna most likely charge double to come out tomorrow with a second person I called another plumbing company up and they came and fixed our bathroom in one hour and at a $170 bucks this place is a rip off

The customer service rep I had in the billing department was full of attitude and repeated my email address with intended aggravation; most places with good customer service will repeat such info for accuracy but I had to ASK her to repeat it to make sure she got it correct. Hawaii in general needs to work on customer service. There is a noticeable "hurry up, you're bothering me" kind of attitude when it comes to servicing clients here. I would hope A1 Budget Plumbing would focus more attention to their service department for overall customer satisfaction. Overall their plumbing technicians were pretty good.
