Scott Barry came to my home for a toilet repair. He didn't provide me any information regarding an estimate. Instead he called me and spoke to me about a $50.00 part and that he would have to order it. He came to my home with the part and installed the part inside the tank. He invoiced me over $300. Stating it took him 2.5 hours. He was in my home Monday for 20 minutes and the second trip to install this part for 30 minutes. He did not share with me his rates. I am a single mother on a budget and if I had known what his rates were I would have called another company. I called him to speak about my high bill and he was very unprofessional and explained to me its been this way for 10 years and told me good day and hung up. I hope others do not experience the same unprofessionalism that I did.

Mr. Scott responded to our problem promptly, gave high quality service, answered several questions for us about other possible plumbing issues, and pointed out issues we could easily address ourselves before they become major problems that we hadn't previously known about. He received no extra work or compensation for answering our questions or pointing out unnoticed issues and didn't expect anything. He also gave us a discount when he noticed we are a military family without us having to ask for it and gave us tips on how to save money on the issues we could DIY.

Scott Barry plumbing provided service that should’ve been considered emergency service at a Military Discount Price. I needed a new toilet installed, he personally arrived, it was everything I ever expected of Richmond Hill when I moved here in 2007. When I mentioned retired he immediately applied a discount, his friendliness and understanding of the situation made me and my family much happier. Thank you Mr. Berry, for doing the extra that you didn’t have too.
