I wanted to give a shout out to James and Todd for their outstanding service at my home on two separate service calls, one for heating/air and the other for electrical. They were both very professional, courteous, polite and respectful. I will definitely call Shumate if the need arises again.

While there's never a "good time" to replace our AC units, my family and I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Shumate. The entire staff shined throughout the entire process in terms of cost, professionalism, and punctuality. My positive experiences have already sparked my interest in their Handyman services as well. Great company!

I found Shumate through Dale Cardwell. They have done two jobs for me. The first was replacement of a hot water heater. They brought it up to code and replaced all of the old copper pipe above it for less than other quotes. The second job was a blocked condensate line. I had called another company to get a quicker appointment. That company declared it impossible to clear line and wanted to install an alternate line for $1,000. Shumate came to my rescue, cleared the line easily. No more bad plumbing for me. Shumate does outstanding work and are my 'only' plumber for future needs.

Sent a technician to evaluate my system, he told me it was frozen and nothing could be done, and then still tried to charge me, for literally nothing. They could have told me to check the unit, or shut it off prior to service when I called in. Use someone else and avoid the headache.

We had both A/C units in our home fail within a month of each other. I called Shumate and they sent a representative out the same day and we had all new equipment installed and up and running less than 24 hours later. Excellent service and we're looking forward to our cooling bills plummeting this summer. Thanks Shumate!
