If I could give less than 1 star, I would have. I have a 1500 gal septic that I believe needs to be emptied. I was calling for estimates, spoke with a man (Eric?) at Simply Septic, and gave him my info then I asked what the fee would be... he said "he'd have to dig up my yard," I interjected, said I'd never had my yard dug up to have a tank emptied. He rudely told me that I've never had my tank emptied then. I insisted that I had, in Illinois, where they put trap lids in the lawn allowing easy access to empty, but "this guy" knows everything and is rude, and has no clue that he isn't right about everything and that yes, septics are emptied without digging. I called a another company and the "digging up the yard".... in their company is done by shovel and the digging is not more than (2,) 2 x 2 ft holes. This guy must lose business for his company all the time by blurting out that he needs to dig up the yard and a "you're stupid" attitude when dealing with a potential customer. From his competitor I was told a couple of holes, an explanation as to why and - that it is a practice done by some companies to hook up to the pvc pipe and call it "emptying the septic tank," leaving the customer in a mess when a reputable company goes in and cleans up the mess. Genii was kind, very helpful and even explained why Mr. Attitude took the position he did. Even if her company is twice as expensive, I'd go with it because of her helpfulness, knowledge and polite professionalism.

Friendly, We had them out to pump our septic tank. we were impressed with how they removed our grass and placed it to one side and put it back last when they were done. We can barely tell where they dug. we would recommend them to friends and family.
