I called Assured this morning in a fit of frustration because our Upstairs unit would not power on. It hadn’t worked since Tuesday night. In two hours time, Chris from Assured was on the job. He was genuine, knowledgeable and courteous. I’m all smiles!
I had a blower motor installed today that was supposed to be under warranty. I was told the the part was covered not the labor before they started however on the first visit they came without the part and told me that the unit needed a pound of freon which the tech added without my approval. He wanted to charge me $79 for showing up and $94 for the freon that added without my permission. They showed back up 3 days later with the part which only took an hour to install and charged me $474. In all I am out $554 for an hours work and a part supposedly under warranty. Hmmmm the tech told me the part cost $500....feels like I paid for the part. When I called and spoke with Amy and Robin neither person could explain the charges. This feels like a rip-off.
Jonathan was our tech this am. He was so polite, showed and taught me a lot and saved the day when our ac unit stopped working. He was on time and I’m so grateful for his help. Definitely recommend Assured and will use them again! Thank you!
Assured Comfort Heating and Air is always there when I need them, and it's never a good time to NEED your HVAC company. When my 30 yr old AC died in the middle of a 100 degree August, they arrived promptly, cut me a great deal, and installed the next day. Actual lifesavers, I plan on using them when my 30 yr old furnace dies.
Called Technician out and was sent another person from original inspection. Luckily they sent Chris T which was patient enough to listen to my concern. Had several people come out and patch up things and suggest buying a new unit. Instead Chris better explained why in detail a new unit would be of value and how it will save time and money in the future. He was extremely professional and having rentals i deal with people just wanting to get a job done and upsale with less cares of customer satisfaction. If it was anyone else I am sure I would have been dissattisfied. Thanks Chris T. For your help expertise and patience.
