Union Restoration

I am so grateful to have been referred to and that I used Union. The staff from start to finish were extremely understanding and very professional. They really cared about getting my house mold free so my family's health would not be in jeopardy. Can't thank them enough!!

I just called for someone to come out and give me an estimate for mold treatment. They transferred me to a lady with a very deep accident and she was very rude, not friendly, over talked me, and was all about the money. She said it could cost $20,000. I didn’t have an opportunity to tell her to much of anything because she kept cutting me off. I kept asking her if she could please send someone out for an estimate and that I would email the air quality test results to them. I never had an opportunity to tell her that the reason why i would be paying with cash is because the insurance company had already sent me all of our coverage money for mold treatment. I was hoping for a better outcome. I told her I didn’t think it was going to work out and she kept over talking me and then in one last effort to try again I asked her could she send someone out for an estimate and She told me she would not be able to do business with me. She is not a good face for the company and does not have good customer service. June 28, 2019

Poor workmanship during Hurricane Michael. The tarp they placed on our property was loose, definitely not wind and water tight and extremely unprofessional looking. We were charged a few thousand dollars for tarp placement that looked like kids had put it on The crew of two young workers arrived late in the day and rushed thru the job. Very nice and respectable young men but poorly managed / trained, only one seemed to know what he was doing. After several complaints and having an attorney involved, the company reluctantly agreed to discount the work by a small percentage but still charged nearly $2,500 out of pocket for a loose tarp on a small roof. We used them on 3 properties back to back and all 3 had to be redone. I can say that the workers were very pleasant to deal with on site, good manners although most had limited English speaking, a couple were easy to talk to (we met 5 or 6 altogether between the 3 properties). However, they were mostly very young workers who weren't seasoned in their craft and never really in sync with each other on the job. Almost comical to watch them work and try to get on the same page. They did what they could but needed obvious stronger management and skills training. Especially in such a devastated area where quality is of utmost importance. I can't, in good conscience, recommend them unless they can guarantee quality work and do right by customers who lose money out of pocket when insurance isn't covering their work (we had insurance but it didn't pay out the way we (or they) expected it to and all expenses came directly from our small payout). This was a major hit to us during a time when every penny counts due to losses we sustained. It would have been easier to accept the expense had the work been done correctly and not needed additional reinforcements. I hope they can learn from this storm and step it up before adding undue stress to someone else's life should this kind of thing ever happen again. I do appreciate their willingness to discount the work but still feel that it wasn't enough of a discount for the job they did.. especially knowing how handsomely they were paid by our insurance companies on the other properties. We don't want something for nothing.. Just want a professional job or better treatment as a 3 time customer who also referred other customers to them before realizing the quality of work they would be getting.

I called Union Restoration because I was getting sick every time I slept at my grandmas condo. When I would leave my night sweats, swollen sore throat, and hot flashes would disappear in a matter of hours. After I called they were there the next day. Isaac and Lewis are amazing! Not only are they experts and super friendly but they fought like lions against my insurance company and HOA that kept trying to give me the run around. In all my years I have never experienced anything like it. This company has your back! They stand up for the little guy and don't give up until your the problem is taken care of. Not just the mold but helping you file your claim and content with big insurance companies that don't want to give you any information much less pay to restore your home. Thank you Isaac and Lewis and thank you Union Restoration these guys are heroes!
