We purchased an A/C unit 3 years ago to the month with this company and the unit broke down. I called and the came out and put a band-aid on it (charging $450). They were to order a part and were to finish work for another $450. Well, to make a long story short I get a call from "Jordan" saying they need to come back out to get some serial numbers to order part (which should have been ordered 3 days ago). I told Jordan has to be after 4pm. She states I'll see if I can get someone after 4pm and hangs up on me. I called back and canceled order. Jordan was an extremely rude girl ...I mean damn we are spending $850 on what should be a good unit..I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM
I got my unit installed less than 30 days ago. I have had 3 service calls so far. It's still not working correctly. Found out it was wired wrong on install. The guy was here today for 3 hours and assured me it's working now. Still reading 77 on thermostat. Was told I dont have a 2 stage cooling system. Was sold a 2 stage cooling system on my contract. The salesman wont return my calls. I'm not getting anywhere with customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
Great customer service! They do everything they say they will do and are very respectful to you and your house. The only reason I marked 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are pricey, but other than that, it's a great company to do business with.
RATED: F Unique bought ARS, which was my prior air conditioner service company. I had service & paid by credit card. I received an email invoice with no detail indicating cost of parts and service rates. Service person was here 45 minutes but I was charged $240—told verbally the part was warranteed. Clearly, they made up the difference of the part as that is not the hourly rate. I attempted multiple times to speak to a manager. No return call-not once. I informed my maintenance manager ( as they appear on our approved vendors list). He called them & interceded. Still no return call.
Started seeing their ads show up on TV, with the ARS logo. SO, IF they are affiliated with ARS in any way, I would avoid at all cost. That $500-$1000 you might save now, is probably going to ultimately cost extended hours waiting on service in an uncomfortable home. I have posted on The Memphis ARS Corporate and Charleson, SC sites. My experience was so memorable, in a bad way. Every time I see the ARS logo, I feel for anyone dealing with them. IF they aren't with ARS, all the above DOES NOT APPLY. If they are, good luck to you if you use them.
