Prout's Plumbing & Supply

I have used Prout's for years and spend thousands of dollars with them to rerun my water pipes. I called them yesterday to schedule someone to come and install a new vanity and toilet. They said a plumber would call me in the morning but he never did. I called them back and they said that they would only install what they sold. As happy as I was with Jesse's work rerunning my water pipes I am not happy with their pressure tactics to sell their products. I will never use them again.

Very pleased with the service. Wayne was actually early for the call! He worked quickly and efficiently. And when the new washing machine started leaking (a problem with the machine, not Wayne's work), I called Prout's and Wayne was back very quickly to diagnose the problem and to help me clean up the water that was on the floor. Prout's and Wayne did a great job and left me one very happy customer!

Cut me off in traffic then drove 5 under the speed limit in a no passing zone.

We noticed that our water heater was leaking. Being new residents of Marco Island we had not had to use the services of a plumber yet. A friend recommended Prout's Plumbing. We contacted the office, spoke with a gentleman on the phone who was not very pleasant, and explained the problem. He quoted a price for replacing and installing a new water heater. We called back ten minutes later to schedule an appointment. After being on hold for over five minutes we were told he would call us back to schedule the appointment. Well, a day and a half later and nobody called back. We contacted another localPlumbing service, who showed up on schedule and on time. Low and behold, water heater was repaired without having to be replaced. Maybe Prout's Plumbing does good work if you can get them scheduled and to show up, who knows? Customer service and phone skills are horrible. We won't be recommending them or using them for any service in the future.
