Hawkesworth Plumbing

My whole family has been using Hawksworth plumbing since the early 90s. We always knew his work was on point. Fast forward to 2019 my current house is on the market and the buyers inspector came in and said your plumber has done the best work I’ve ever seen. Mr. Hawksworth stands by his work, he’s honest, quick and fair.

Quick to respond and work seems to be quality, But be prepared to pay through the nose! $ 489.00 to replace the shower knobs and valves litterly was here 15 min. I am just sick about it. When I questioned the price I was told parts aren’t cheap! Looking for a new plumber!!!!

All in all they did a quality job in a timely manner BUT they refused to work with my schedule, the price was higher than originally quoted, and they refused to address the residual problem of water hammer. I have used Hawkesworth off and on for the past 13 years and their service and pricing was great. Now... I recently had a small water heater replaced after the old one exploded. Hawkesworth responded in a timely manner; however, they were unwilling to work with my schedule and dictated when they would be by to do the job. I was not given an estimate before they started work (Frank literally started taking things apart before I could even say stop) and when asked about pricing was told it would be about $1,000 but the final bill was over $1,300. Lastly, we experienced problems with water hammer once the job was done. Hawkesworth was called back out to address the water hammer problem, and again they refused to work with our schedules which lead to a lot of time off work. They did some adjustments that didn't solve anything and finally told us to simply close the doors and ignore the noise (even though it was so loud you could hear it from the other side of the house). I ended up purchasing a hammer arrestor from a local home improvement store for $15 to solve the issue.

38 years? You hang up on a potential customer? Good luck sir....

Definitely would not recommend Hawkesworth Plumbing. Charged a senior woman $202.00 to replace a simple $8.98 PVC overflow pipe in toilet tank. Could have bought a whole new toilet for less....A perfect example of price gouging an unknowing senior woman
