Jason and his crew were awesome and professional. They took care of us! Reliable and honest. If you have an emergency, they will do anything they can to take care of you!

I recently had Nuckles and Son work on a rental house because of a small leak under the sink. One of their plumbers called me to share that there were a couple of other issues that they wanted to work on, and since I live in a different state I gave them the go ahead to work on them while they were already there. At no point did they inform me that each thing had a set additional charge. There were two employees there for three hours (6 total man hours), and I received the bill for a total of $810 in just labor costs. The most reasonable charge was for cleaning the combustion chamber on the water heater ($185 set charge), however the other 4 charges were all related to one kitchen sink. They charged $165 (set charge) to put in the garbage disposal (which my tenant was already in the process of doing when he notice the initial leak), $150 to put in a new faucet (set charge), $150 for a basket strainer, and and $160 for the initial leak by the wye. In other words, for $625 labor cost they replaced a few components on a sink. When I asked why I wasn't informed that things had a set cost, they said even the "emergency" plumbers charge $85 an hour for each person. If my math is correct, for this non-emergency I just paid each plumber $135 an hour. I will never again let any of my tenants call Nuckles.

We just moved to the Jonesboro area, and had an emergency septic tank issue (one word: backup!). My fiance called up Nuckles & Son and they came by quickly even though it was the evening. They were very nice and friendly and helpful. Also VERY fairly priced service. We were very satisfied with their service and professionalism and will definitely be back next time we need a plumber.

Horrible experience. They were asked to come determine if we had a leak. They did not inform us up front that they were going to use a leak detector machine to do so which costs $450. They should have told us this up front so we could decide if we wanted to do that, which we would not have gone forth with that cost if we would have know. They hooked it up, told my husband there was no charge for today's work, and left after 10 minutes of being there. Their detector said there was a leak in the slab. We used an independent plumber after Nuckles and Son never got back with us about fixing our issue, and the independent plumber determined and FIXED CORRECTLY a leak in the WALL-not slab. Nuckles and Son never followed up with us or our insurance company until a month and a half later, and asked to come repair our leak. We told them it was fixed 6 weeks ago, and they sent a bill for $450 the next week for their "leak detector" charge. We went to the office to dispute this and no one was there to help. We called for over 2 weeks, and the woman who was supposed to handle the issue never would return our calls or call us back. My husband went again on May 14th to resolve the billing charge issue and they basically said he was lying, that he was told up front about the leak detector charge, and that they would just file it to collections. She also told me she was not happy about our insurance and not contacting them back, which is why she never contacted us quicker about repairing our leak. Which is a lie. I can contact them easily any day and they are available. They said it was Nuckles and Son who was never there to answer calls or call them back. Which is what we experienced first hand as well. The woman dealing with our bill was terribly cold and rude, and they tried to make my husband out to be a liar, charge us $450 for ten minutes because of using a machine they did not ask to use up front-knowing how expensive it is. They are a DISHONEST and un professional company who will never gain my business or anyone else I know.
