This is the first company I would have no hesitation recommending. A quality job completed in a professional manner always. No tall stories which lead to extra costs. And a very knowledgeable team. The only minor issue is that they are always busy (but will fit in an emergency fix if at all possible as a short term option).

Our main circuit board broke on our Vailant boiler last week Rang John , he came the same day & fitted the part the following day . Over the last few years John has repaired and serviced our boiler reliably, and with excellent knowledge of our boiler type . He always prices work very reasonably . We absolutely recommend him for any similar work .

John and his son removed our old back boiler system and installed a lovely new Vaillant boiler in 2017, including several radiators. Excellent communication, professionalism and workmanship. We have been enjoying our heating system for 2 years now without any problems at all and everything seems to be working perfectly. He was also really helpful with advice and assistance with the rest of our plumbing projects! Highly recommend.

John and his son installed a new boiler and radiators to the whole house - they were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them.

In October 2018 John Presland charged us £180 to replace a faulty diverter valve on our boiler. When we called him three months later to say that the problem was not fixed and we had hot water going to radiators that were turned off, he eventually came to the house and spent a few minutes looking at the boiler. He said he would consult the boiler manufacturer and get back in touch in a few days. He never did. We have now had to have the problem fixed by another heating engineer, who told us that John had clearly not replaced the whole unit. Having investigated the fault our new plumber had to install a complete diverter valve cartridge. We contacted John to ask for a refund for the defective work which he had carried out and which he then didn't return to try and sort out. He refused. He had the cheek to say it had slipped his mind to come back to us as he was busy with other jobs. Avoid this company.
