Wanted a card payment up front of over £200 before they would even attend while I had water pouring in my ceilings from a burst pipe. Let me get my card while I have no electricity and my house is flooding ???? I obviously didn’t pay but I can imagine a few people would in the heat of the moment and during a crisis. The whole job cost me £139 from another company who took payment on site. Maybe genuine but who knows.
