Fast Service Plumbing & Heating

These people are no good at all. Came to fix a thermostat and shorted out my furnace. Then told me I needed parts. After they went looking came back and said no luck I would need a new furnace. Called a Reputable plumber and he came, replaced the thermostat, put back all the wires the other two tore off my furnace, and had it running in about 45 minutes. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. And now they think I owe them for screwing over my furnace.

I called at 10:20 am on a Saturday as my furnace had stopped working. I knew it was the thermal coupler. He said he was on an out of town call and would be a couple of hours. I called back 3 hours later and he was still on that call and wasn't sure when he would get here. Luckily it was only -4. He got here at 5 and after much hassle got the coupler changed but couldn't get it lit as he didn't have the right equipment. I had to get my neighbor to bring over a BBQ lighter! That worked and I had heat. This took 40 mins. The bill was $294.00 because it was off hours. Terrible service. I hope to never have to call "Fast" sevice again. March 4th update: Please disregard this review! I made a horrible mistake and posted this for the wrong company!!! The company I was talking about was Super Service. I can't apologize enough to Fast Service for my mistake.

I had water spraying out of the ground at my rural home near Holbein and was looking for someone to help me resolve it. I called these people and explained everything in as much detail as I could. They sent someone out. The person who came out had no idea what to do so he said you will need to find where the water is coming from and then dig down to where it is. I asked why he came out if there is nothing he could do. He asked for a hanger to perform a water finding technique. That didn't work. Off he went leaving me to find someone else to help. I later received a bill for almost 300.00$ When I asked them what it was for their reply was "for our expertise " If you are going to respond to a customer please do have the capability and professionalism to help. At this point I have not paid them anything. At the most I think travel is all they should expect notwithstanding the fact they came out without the ability to help me. ***UPDATE March 31, 2017 They have sent this fictitious matter to collection. Received a call from General Credit Services from Vancouver regarding the matter. Told her I would be willing to pay for the travel just as I told the staff member I talked to on the phone at this business even though they didn't do any work but would not pay for work that was not done. Unfortunately the way collections work - anyone can submit a collection through client care whether they are reputable or not. I was forced to pay the money Brian from Fast Services and Heating claimed I owed as once it's at collections any dispute being handled does not stall the collections company from reporting the claim. I called Brian from Fast Service and Heating to tell him that the money had been paid and again told him that I felt very upset and violated that he would charge me for work that was not done and Brian's reply was (paraphrased) "I pay my guys by the hour and I am not going to pay them for doing nothing" "I am standing up for my guys" So essentially he could not tell me what work was done but that his guy said he did work. I am new to this area and am not looking for ways to get the word out that Fast Service and Heating should not be dealt with as they are dishonest. I invite anyone else who has had good or bad dealings with this company to write their own review.

Overcharged. Stay away.
