Very happy with their services. I have my boiler serviced with them and all I can say is A+ in my books. They are very knowledgeable, explain everything that they are doing and tell us the results. Thank you R. F. Ohl
This company has always been willing to discuss my concerns and financial situation and work with me. Ms. Erica Pribila has always been phenomenal in her assistance with my heating needs. Thank you for your great work and a family, financially friendly company.
I was a fan of RF Ohl as my primary furnace provider. While they may be more expensive than other furnace services, they were very thorough and responsive. I still believe this to be the case. Unfortunately, I will not be using them in the future. During the last furnace cleaning, i was told that i needed to replace my Burner assembly. I requested the price from RF OHL which was around 550$ and did a quick search online and found the price of the unit to be around 350-400$. I told them to go ahead with the install. When i got home i saw that they installed a fuel pump (a small part of the burner assembly) and not the whole piece of equipment. After many missed calls, i talked to the manager of the technicians and he told me that there was no way that they would replace a whole burner assembly for only $550 and that this was the correct price for the Fuel Pump. The price of the fuel pump is around $70 online (see attached) and RF Ohl Charged me $515 (see attached) to replace this part. I could understand if they charged me around $150 for the half hour of work and the part cost. But i was charged $515 dollars. During the call with the manager of RF OHL i explained my concern about feeling ripped off and his response was that "this is the price of having trained employees work on my furnace".
Terrible. I payed online and used a $25 discount code. They refused to deliver oil without letting me know the issue until after calling 3 times. Those calls yielded no information when I asked what the problem was. It took my husband calling #4 for them to reply. They stated that my home was not up to code with the pipes that lead to my oil tank. This meant that I would have to spend hundreds fixing it. When in reality they upgraded their equipment and wanted me to do the same. 1st the code is correct BUT it is not a must. You can find oil companies that still have the old equipment that fits to the piping. When I called another company they told me that the old piping was fine and they would be able to deliver oil. I can almost guarantee they also didn't want to honor the discount code. They made no attempt to work with me aside from a refund. I recieved my refund immediately but that would not be the case for an elderly neighbor of mine. An elderly lady was refused service for the same reason and when she decided to go somewhere else with her business they told her that it would take 8 weeks to get her money back. Approx. $800. The elder lady was on social security/fixed income and could not afford this. She needed this money. Take your business elsewhere.
Dean came out for a leak and solved several plumbing issues while at our home. My hubby now has fewer things on the honey-do list! :-) Dean was prompt, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.
