I'll be reluctant to say any of the 5 start reviews are true (very likely friends or family that wanted him to get work). I contracted this guy because he was referred to me by other contractor. Little did I know that he would literate rip me off. I was hesitant to give him a 50% down payment on a $8500 job, even though I checked his record and and everything told me not to, his license was expire, he had a pending case against him, and I saw the 1 start reviews on yelp about him, still he sounded sincere and as usual, I give people the benefit of the doubt. He never showed up after I gave him the $4500, I called him to see what happened and gave me a story about my check hadn't cleared yet and was wanting on that so he could buy material, even though 5 days had already past and my funds had already been withdraw. To make a long story short, I asked for a refund, nothing had being purchased nor any work performed. He promised me I was going to have my money back in 30 days. He did gave me a check which bounce and never heard from him again. I am filing a legal claim against him to recover my money. and again, check his License, IT IS SUSPENDED. PS. He also burned his contractor friend. Hire this guy at your own risk.
