Z Heating, Cooling and Plumbing

Great overall experience! After coming out on a Sunday to assess our failing water heater and discuss our options with us, John S. was back on Monday morning to replace our heater. He was prompt, fast & did quality work to get our hot water back & running as quickly as possible. He did an excellent job & we'll be sure to remember that for our next plumbing needs.

I noticed that my garbage disposal was leaking last weekend so I decided to call a plumber. There was a sticker on my disposal that said R.L. Stanton Plumbing so I decided to call and schedule an appointment, I remembered Mr. Stanton coming out to install my disposal several years ago and he was very nice guy and treated me fairly. I come to find out that Mr. Stanton retired and sold his business to Z Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, but I thought I'd give them a try....Big Mistake!!! I knew that I wasn't going to be home when the plumber arrived so I asked my wife to have him call me when he determined what the price would be. I received a phone call from the plumber who told me what I already knew to be true...I needed a new garbage disposal. I asked him how much to replace it and he quoted me $588.00. I asked him what kind of garbage disposal he was installing and the cost of the disposal and he replied a 3/4 HP Badger - $99. I told him I wasn't going to pay him $488.00 to install a $99 garbage disposal, and he could pack his things and leave my home. I then called Z robbing, plumbing, heating to talk to the owner, I was told that I would hear from him on Monday. (that was a week ago tomorrow) There are plenty of plumbers out there...steer clear of this one!!!! I went to Home Depot and bought a much better model garbage disposal for $219.00 and home depot charged me $99 for the install.

I needed a quick replacement of my water heater, and my technician Adam Antoon arrived on time, did the job professionally, and cleaned up the work area. He was friendly and helpful in answering questions. Good job - I'll use Z Heating again in the future.
