It was a fine experience.

Took my mom here because it’s the one closest to her. We purchased screen for a patio door and a big wooden outside fence for her backyard. Our cashier said she will get someone with a key to unlock the slats for us to take one and after waiting for almost 30 mins one young man comes by us and we tell him we’ve been waiting for a while and nothing. He gives us attitude and goes inside to get the keys and then asks us to c the receipt 3x because apparently the 1st time he looked at it he missed something....anyways....my husband asks if he can please open the lock because we were on a time schedule about to drive 6 hours home after dropping my mom off at her place....and he rolled his eyes, took his sweet time and unlocked it and the wood that holds all the fences together he just threw it against the wall with anger and through the chains on the floor and walked away. He was so rude. And lucky that we were in a hurry to get back that I didn’t take his name down. You can’t have people that are so rude in a place where customer service is needed the whole time the store is open.

Beware! Bait & Switch Scam! $1685 job turns into $4634 at Home Depot I was pricing flooring for a new construction project in my home. I went to Home Depot, right seems to make sense? My project has a contractor working already but I needed flooring and a floor installations. When I look around I found flooring at a great price starting at .89 per square foot and up. I picked one that was 1.49 per sq ft and was told by an employee in that department that installation was on sale for .89 per square foot. Great deal .89 plus 1.49 equals $2.38 per sf my job is 706 square feet, 706 x $2.38 equals $1685. Awesome!! heres my credit card right! nope hold on now. The Home Depot employee says he has to put in on their computer to get the final price. $4634.31says the computer. I have the print out, they give no details on how they got to this amount. Salesperson says it's for molding, moving furniture, transitions etc and etc. I say I don't need most of that stuff! he says he can't do anything about it. I need to get a measurement which cost $35 bucks and than someone will call me and I can work it out with them what I need or don't need. So I really want to save that money so I pay the $35, meet the guy at the house, he measures, but won't discuss the job with me in anyway. Measures and leaves, tells me someone will call me in 24-48 hours? Next night at young lady calls who knows nothing about flooring starts reading me the details of the $4634 invoice. I say I don't need that, I don't want that etc, she puts me on hold and says she has to talk to her manager. 20 minutes later another person picks up says she's the manager and everyone when home for the day and I should go back to the store to discuss my issues. Total rip off. Beware.

My mother in law bought flooring and wanted hime depot to install. We waited 14 hours for supplies. Crazy to sit around a full day for a delivery. And a saturday no less. ????
