I had a lot of water in the main level of my home. ServPro of Stamford responded very quickly. They were on site within an hour extracting water and beginning to dry my floor and walls. One thing that they did that made me really happy was to sanitize after the drying was done. They also made sure that the walls and floor was completely dry before leaving my home for the last time. They told me that this was so no mold would grow as a result of remaining water. I would recommend them to anyone.
A quick response to our particular issue and even a follow up call to insure that we were completely satisfied1 exceeded our expectations
On Sept. 25 when Hurricane Florence came up the coast and hit Westport with 7.5 inches of rain in a short amount of time, water overflowed my patio and came down the walls to my basement causing a flood that paralyzed me. I stared at the water getting higher and higher not knowing what to do. I called in a favor from the management company of my condominium. The property manager I spoke to had Dodi Millette call me back within a half hour. She was so calm and made some suggestions on what to do immediately. What I didn't know at the time was that there were major commercial and residential floodings in the entire area. She put my mind at ease and once I had the water more or less contained I felt a little better. The next day Dodi kept in contact with me with an estimated arrival for the ServPro team to vacuum out the water on the floor and in my rugs. They cleaned my floors and spray to prevent mold growth, and they set up fans and air blowers to hasten the drying out process. By the time Bekim and his team showed up,I had realized that my condo complex had more than my unit to work on. Eventually I found myself working with the ServPro team that was helping other neighbors get their basements dried and cleaned . Andrew Rossi worked with our property maintenance head going in and out of other units that got damaged so he could schedule teams to come in and remediate. Water was vacuumed up, carpets, padding and vinyl flooring was taken out, drywall was cut where water wicked up, dehumidifiers, fans and air movers were set up and mold that was found on ceilings days later was sprayed and stopped from growing. This is a group of people that work as if they have an ownership in the company. They are all very polite and efficient and take the time to explain what each individual problem is and what needs to be done to have a safe environment following the mess. I highly recommend this ServPro group. I sincerely thank thank Dodi Millette and Andrew Rossi, and Bekim and Anton Gjelevic, Kwame and Miguel, Jay, Roberto and Jose. You all made an overwhelming situation calm and less chaotic from the start. For myself and my neighbors. Thank you all.
We experienced water damage in our home from a failed air handler. Servpro were subsequently contracted for remediation. When the insurance adjuster visited the home, he noticed mold areas that Servpro had overlooked. We subsequently had to reschedule a return to our home. When the crew returned, they severely gouged a section of our hardwood floor (original to the home) and caused significant marring on areas of our walls. After we contacted Servpro Stamford with the damage photos caused by their crew, they stated they would fix these issues when we contracted them for repair services (obviously different contract from the initial remediation service). Throughout the entire process there was significant pressure from their administration and senior office personnel to sign the additional contract to "make it like it never happened." After failing to complete the entire remediation during their first visit, actually causing damage to our home during their second, pressuring us to sign the additional contract, and not offering compensation for the damage they had caused, there is no way they are allowed to enter our home again. PLEASE BE WARNED WHEN ENGAGING THIS OFFICE.
