The plumber that was sent to my house to replace a pipe and the valve had reported false report on mold which caused the home warranty not to send anybody else to repair the issue. The guy had suggested his "close friend" to stop by and give an estimate for the non-existing mold. His estimate was $1000!! I had another plumber come and paid $60 for the whole repair and there was no issue with the mold or anything else. My suggestion is first get a quote from other plumbers and don't trust the home warranty plumbers. I will post the same review on my home warranty so people know how I have been treated.
I contracted Royal through my home warranty, so I had no choice who to use but I would discourage anyone from considering them. They were nice enough people but they visited my house two times (so far) and both times they missed their 3 hour window significantly. Worse than that- they didn't clean up after the job. I don't mean, they failed to sweep and I mean they left the old sewer pipe in my basement. Just left it there. As soon as I noticed this, I called Royal and they first claimed that was the standard practice, then said they'd have to call me after the holiday. Haven't heard from them. I'm working with my Home Warranty company to make sure they don't get paid until they finish the job. Do yourself a favor- don't use Royal Services. Update- they offered to come and pick up the pipe... for $65 and a third 3 hour window appointment.
Alex and Charles were very polite and really knew what they were doing, from the start. I was very happy with the service .l will tell my friends and family. Thanks Guys! Diane
I would give less stars if possible. We only used Royal because we were forced to by our home warranty company. They missed their first appointment, then lied on the claim they submitted to the insurance company. 3 weeks with no hot water and still no resolution in sight, every time we call we get the run around. Save yourself the hassle and just pay for a contract plumber, it'll be worth it.
Forced to work with this company by iur hime warranty (the biggest culprits). Technician stopped by for all of 5 minutes on Friday morning. Company claims to work Saturdays until 1pm. I called 7 times and left 4 messes (so as not to be excessive, right) and did not receive a response or live person. How's that?! In the meantime the water damage from the water heater leaked into our home and damaged our wood floors..
