UPDATE - store issued complete refund. I am not sure one could ask for more. If things don't work out - as they did not for us - the company stands behind their product. Completely disappointed. Attempt at purchasing carpeting ended in failure after a long and stressful process. First, we were told the installation would be scheduled within a month; we ended up waiting nearly two months. The installation was cancelled on the morning of. The sales associate assured us that there would be no seams in the patterned carpet and we paid extra to have one piece. The installers were sent away after they insisted that there was no way to install without seams. Home Depot has lived up to its longstanding reputation - poor customer service and terrible subcontractors. Rarely is it worth the few dollars in savings. You get what you pay for. Always.

Just walked out of the store after being ignored by multiple employees who made eye contact with me, but just kept talking to each other. Finally asked a man if he could help me? His response, "I'm helping someone else right now, but I actually don't work in this department anyway." He then walked off. A few weeks ago I ordered $2500 worth of gutters to be installed. Came in today to buy gutter guards along with lots of other stuff, and was planning on ordering $6000+ worth of windows. Nevermind.

I purchased kitchen counter tops from Home Depot. I will never go that way again. The guy I talked made it sound like an easy process doable in a few weeks. Not the case. I received bad information from Home Depot and the counter top vender. I incurred additional charges when my contractor had to undo something we were told to do by the counter top vender. Both the vender and Home Depot said they would cover the additional charges and , no surprise, neither are following through. In fact the vender, Counter Tops, is saying they will not pay. At end end, my counter tops are beautiful, but I would never work with these two companies on this type of project again.

Contacting anyone by phone here is a JOKE. Operator never answers the phone nor does any dept. They had to send someone out to our house, (45 miles away), for an appt. to do an estimate just to find a note we left on the door saying we had an out of town emergency and could not reach them by phone.
