American Rooter sent a man today, 10-23-2018, S.W.O.# 191467 to unclog my bathroom shower drain. He communicated with me when he was coming by phone and showed up when he said he would. He did a great job unclogging a drain that was completely plugged up and 80% clogged previously for longer than I want to admit. He was professional, courteous, fast, and likable! I was really impressed with the quality of service I received today at a reasonable cost! Kudos!

I’ve had a really bad experience with this company. I made an appointment for a septic inspection for a house I was interested in buying and then they show up without a truck to pump the tank for the inspection. The technician then goes to charge me anyway for coming out because he couldn’t do the inspection without pumping which was not my fault. He sat around for an hour as I tried to find a local company to pump to no avail. I took the day off of work for nothing. They come again two days later to do the inspection but now cannot do it because the outlet was under a sidewalk (which the first technician failed to mention so I guess he didn’t even look for it). Because he failed to locate the first time he sent two guys out to a job they can’t do. I got a bill for this too. I asked them to get back to me that day with an estimate to dig up sidewalk but no one calls me. I call up the next day (Friday) Begging them to please get me an estimate because I only have a short period of time to get the inspection done, and I was assured that someone would get back to me that afternoon or over the weekend with an estimate. I also asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me they would call me Monday. Never got an estimate or a call from the supervisor (this was several weeks ago). This company completely left me hanging with almost no time to find another company which put my house purchase contract in jeopardy. I just got a bill a few days ago and called this morning to please speak with a supervisor about this bill. I was told that I would get a call back today. Again, no follow through and was not called back today. Avoid this place!!!! Buyer beware.

American Rooter is the best solution for your backed up drains they are thorough and efficient. Don't waste your time getting quotes either they are reasonable. I've had a structural issue with my pipes and have used them several times with good results. They helped me to pinpoint the problem and now I can feel certain of making correct repairs instead of someone over charging me thousands of dollars. Their technicians especially Patrick are competent and pleasant to deal with 5 stars here. Call them for your drains you won't regret it.

Great service. I had like 10 different plumbing companies coming to my place to find out where the terrible smell was coming from. So happy I found those guys. They found an open pipe in the wall, fixed it, and were super nice and professional. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. It is hard to find such a reliable and fast service these days.
