Waste of time, effort and money

We purchased a roof replacement from Home Depot and it was a complete nightmare. It took months to schedule. Then they rescheduled the work twice after without notifying us. By the time the roof was installed, it was winter and too cold for the installation to stick. All winter long, tiles were flapping and ripping off the roof. The project manager was absolutely awful in dealing with this. She tried to shift blame and then blew up at us in an extremely unprofessional manner when we were trying to get everything repaired. It took 4 extra visits, plus an emergency night visit when the roof leaked gallons of water into the house on a stormy night, to have everything installed. I am extremely doubtful this roof will be functional for its expected lifetime. Avoid using Home Depot Roof Service at all costs.

Don't go for flooring. We are doing our whole house. Had an estimate from a flooring Co and thought we'd try HD. We needed carpet, vinyl and plank. Had all the measurements for her. She kept getting interrupted every 5-10 min which was so frustrating . We had to do the math as she couldn't convert yds to sf. Never did get the right quote. You'd think at the tune of 10,000.00 you'd get some quality help. They didn't even have samples for us. Don't you think that if there's a sale that the head of that dept would have stocked up?. Sales ending, have 2 days to make a decision and no samples. At least they could have extended it for us. Don't go here. Go to a specialty store. You may pay a little more but it's so worth it.
