I have used NY Boiler and Air conditioning many times in multiple homes. Just ask for Lou. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand everything going on. He also makes sure he can get you back up and running as soon as possible. Great company great response time. Always a pleasure to deal with.

EDIT: in response to your reply: Regardless of the conditions which you state, you did not address my main concern/complaint, which is that no where on your site/social media/or online confirmation system do you mention a 2 hour minimum. The conditions of the system have nothing to do with that, and to your point, if it was "never serviced", it would require more than just compressed air in the drain line (and take more than the 15 minutes you took). ----- I will preface by saying Luis and Andre are very polite and courteous individuals, and they repaired the issue we were experiencing. Unfortunately, the feel good story ends there. I had called NY Boiler & AC repair due to a water overflow/leak occurring in my air handler/condenser. I was fairly certain the issue was a clogged drain pipe, but without a float or any easy access to the pipe itself, I decided to let an expert review it. I was recommend by a friend to Luis. Luis informed me I would need to wait 3 days as they were doing "big jobs". I bit the bullet in this heatwave because of his reputation. i sent him a video of the issue and over the phone he did state that 8/10 times that is due to a clogged drain line. Either way he came 2 days later. On his route he sent an auto text/emails stating that water leaks are $150 services calls to come out and see. I thought, OK no problem. He came, blew some compressed air in my drain line and was done. Total time spent was 15 minutes. His charge? $300. When I asked him why $300, he said there is a 2 hour minimum, and he would not negotiate on the price, even though he himself acknowledged it only took 15 minutes. My issue is that he is not straightforward and honest with his pricing. After he left, I reviewed his website and social media outlets. No where, including his text/email appointment scheduling system does it mention a 2 hour minimum. Additionally, when I asked him over the phone how much to clear a clogged drain, he said he cannot give me pricing without seeing (even though I sent a video and photo and he confirmed an 80% probability). Luis has a lot of social media clout and presence, and while he is presents himself and his company in a professional manner, he is undoubtedly not honest and straightforward with his pricing. For that I cannot recommend his work/services.


Can’t say enough about how knowledgeable and professional Luis and his staff are at NY Boiler & AC repair. I have been a loyal customer for years now and no matter how busy they may be I can always count on Luis and his staff to effectively resolve my problem within a few hours. There is no greater demonstration of appreciation for your customers then to consistently provide timely and highly professional service. NY Boiler never disappoints in this regard.

Luis and company were absolute lifesavers today. AC died on me and with one quick call, was able to meet him at his office for the vital part I needed. He was nice enough to walk me through the easy fix. Next time I have an issue, he will be the first I call. Thanks again
