These guys are great. All the staff have been communicative - always providing timely reminders of scheduled visits and techs notify of their imminent arrival. This is convenient for me, as I often forget about scheduled service appointments. When they arrive, they are professional, friendly, and I never feel rushed. One of the most important reasons I have set up regular service with them is because they are happy to tell me everything looks good. They have never tried to get me to service something that didn't need it. Finally, I appreciate their use of technology to make things easy. Online payments, text messages of arrival times, email notifications with invoices, etc.

My AC went out sometime Friday night while I was asleep and I woke up Saturday to an extremely hot house. I called Dave's and he said would send a Tech out Sunday at 9:00 am, the Tech he sent was Mario. I can't say enough good about him, he arrived on time (keeping in mind this was a weekend) and went right to work. He was professional, and informative as to what my problem was and what he would have to do to correct it. I agreed and he went right to work and got my AC back up and running. On closing he made out my bill and it was exactly what he said it would be....no hidden or unexplained charges as I have received from other AC companies I've used in the past. I also have COPD which makes it difficult to breath and AC is a must on hot and humid days hence the weekend need. Like I said Mario was the greatest! I will be using Dave's from now on! I want to compliment Dave's Mechanical Services of Frederick, MD for a superb job in the replacement of my AC/Heat pump system and the changeover from R-22 to 410 type Freon. I RARELY EVER take the opportunity to praise someone or business that I have to spend money with. However this business is deserving of it. Once my Warranty service decided the equipment was covered and gave Dave's the authority to do the work, things moved rapidly and efficiently at a reasonable cost outside the warranty coverage. Have had a great experience with Dave's! They replaced our furnace/AC unit last year quickly, cheerfully and professionally, and we just had the same experience with our free spring inspection!
